Pillow boxes countdown

To create this pillow box countdown, start by cutting 20 or 30 circles out of patterned paper to glue on to each box, followed by a numbered round sticker. These pillow boxes were purchased from my local Dollarama in the craft isle.

Once complete, you can fill each box with anything related to Ramadan, appropriate for your childrens’ age. I filled mine with small printouts from this Names of Allah workbook along with Sahabah cards from learning roots, activities from Ramadan resources by Primary Ilm like this one and a few have treats like a small chocolate heart. I didn’t want each and every box to have a treat as a personal choice and I chose to do 20 boxes, to reserve the last 10 nights for myself.

After all the boxes are complete, you can take string and tie them around each one to hang up onto a banner or moon shape garland like I have here.
